The Truth (Pt. 1)

Life comes in different shades, that goes without saying, look around you, it's pretty obvious right? Funny how we all say these things, yet go through life with one shade; some live it dull, some others experience the bright side. Dull or bright, you hold the brush, and it's the individual who choses the colour of his/her life. Situations, people and the environment may direct ones hands in the direction one would rather not take, causing you to make marks on your board of life, what you will naturally call mistakes, but if you have the brush and can chose the colour with which your "art work" comes out, then its really up to you.

Religion is an institution set up to keep men on the right track, but this doesn't make religion right, or the people who preach it right. Everyman has a right spirit at birth; we were all born with a good intent and as such are naturally disposed to doing good. What we see today in our society is not the function of the devil, but men seeking to become Gods over one another, fueled by the same religion that was set up to checkmate man's activities.

The setting up of a legal system gives room for crime to be comitted, building prisons drives the "authorities" to seek out offenders, the realisation of the fact that there is a group known as the offenders, spurs rebelion, rebelion leeds to crime, crime to judicial system and that, to prisons.

How then has religon helped the human race?
